privacy policy
last updated october 10, 2026
this policy explains what information we collect when you visit thesingleshift.com or join the single shift, and what we do with it. "we" means selfworkaholic and rose miller, ph.d.
what we collect
- contact details — your name and email when you join the waitlist, enroll, or email us.
- payment information — handled by our checkout platform (circle) and its payment processor. we never see or store your full card number.
- what you share in the program — posts and comments in the private community, replies to our emails, and anything you say or show on live calls.
- basic technical data — like any website, our hosting provider may log things like your browser type and ip address.
how we use it
- to deliver the program: daily lessons, meditations, the workbook, community access, and live calls.
- to send you emails about the single shift and selfworkaholic. you can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.
- to answer your questions and handle billing.
who we share it with
we don't sell your information. we share it only with the services that run the program: circle (checkout, course, and community), flodesk (email), and netlify (website hosting). each handles your data under its own privacy policy.
live calls and the community
live calls are recorded so members who miss them can watch later, and recordings are shared only inside the program. you're welcome to keep your camera off or ask questions in the chat. what other members share in the community and on calls is theirs: please don't share it outside the program.
this is not a clinical record
the single shift is education, not therapy. we don't create health or treatment records, and nothing you share in the program becomes part of a therapeutic relationship.
your choices
you can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing theselfworkaholic@gmail.com. we keep information only as long as we need it to run the program, meet legal or tax obligations, or resolve disputes.
changes
if we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
